Lightning Spark Books would like to say thank you – Nya:wen to everyone who made this milestone of $10,500 donated to date possible by supporting this special book project to raise funds for the new Mohawk Language and Cultural Centre in Tyendinaga.

The first book, ‘Where the Lightning has Struck, A true story about Mohawk Chief and Captain John Deserontyon’ is also helping to raise awareness and provide education about Captain John.

Pamela’s books are also part of a ‘A Path Forward’ at the Macaulay Museum in Picton, a permanent and evolving exhibit co-curated by TTO that explores Truth and Reconciliation in the County.
